Crooked teeth can be more than unflattering. They can be a health problem. Improperly aligned teeth can cause stress on the supporting bone and jaw joints, and allow "pockets" in the gums where plaque can grow. With this in mind, our dentists offer orthodontic services to help realign your teeth for a healthy, attractive smile.

Invisalign®      TOP

Can you keep a secret?

We can! Invisalign® can straighten your crooked teeth right before everyone's eyes and they won't suspect a thing. No wires. No glue. No cuts on your lips or gums. Invisalign® has revolutionized the idea of braces.

So how can we do it?

The answer is a series of custom made, clear plastic, removable aligners to be worn over your teeth. Our dentists make impressions and photos of your teeth and mouth and send them to Invisalign®. Invisalign® then creates a 3-dimensional model of your teeth, and a chart of their projected movement during treatment. Once our dentist approves, Invisalign® produces a series of custom aligners for you to wear during your treatment.

How do I use Invisalign®?

Wear each aligner day and night for about two weeks. During treatment you will visit the dentist about once every 6-8 weeks for evaluation. As you progress, the dentist will give you additional aligners until your treatment is complete. And there you have it! Straight, healthy teeth and a beautiful smile.

Is Invisalign® healthier?

Yes! Because there are no wires or glue used during treatment with Invisalign®, you can brush and floss normally. Just remove the aligner, brush and floss, and replace the aligner. It is as simple as that!

What you don't know can hurt you!

The Joint between the top of the lower jaw and the temporal bone (it connects the jaw bone to the skull) is known as the Temporomandibular Joint. This is the joint that moves during chewing and speaking. When this joint is misaligned it leads to pain, headaches and resistance when opening and closing the mouth.
